http://shelleytherepublican.com Now, I don't particularly understand the American political parties, but what brought me to this conclusion was this post: http://shelleytherepublican.com/2006/04/linux-european-threat-to-our-computers.html That is just one of the amazingly idiotic posts made on that site. At first I thought it was a joke, I didn't want to take it too seriously. But then I read the rest of the blog, and I'm wondering whether to laugh or cry. Read it for yourself, but careful. Don't let it poison your mind. I' not sure whether its sharp satire or not.
I'm inclined to believe that this is satire, but who knows---there are people that are that ignorant.
http://podfeed.net/category_item.asp?id=1485 it sounds like she's actually serious about all the mumbo jumbo she spills out. jesus christ
No offence to any Americans but most things I have worth owning are japanese/taiwanese/chinese inventions. Thats debateable And thats becauuuse? Yeh good things tend to spread Again no offence to Americans but is this for real Does she not realise it would be more easily hacked using Windows More than likely and assumption about Bin laden and oh no it isnt possible to copy dvds without Linux!! Ohh cmon?!?!?! Linux has been illegal since when?? Wow this article got me really worked up. Someone tell me its a joke Ahh only read this after the article and my post...good, thats calmed me down
How can u be sure it's satirical, AT? Obviously that would make great sense, but somehow it seems as if it's for real ...
I don't think so AT. At first it was satire, then when you read abot this person and actually the whole blog you realise that they are just ignorant. They're actually serious. Hard to believe but that what it seems like, too long and detailed to be a joke.
Well I showed this to my roommate and he brings up a point: why would it sell satire-free merchandise if it's satire?
