Hi I have recently purchased a GeForce 7600GT graphics card as i needed a new one. But now I need buy a new motherboard that can support it. The graphics card requires a PCI-EXPRESS. Here are a few other important factors to know: DDR 1GB RAM 754 Socket AMD Athlon 64 3400+ And it would also need to be a MICRO ATX board so it could fit my case So basicly there are few things preventing me to just go out and buy one as there are many things to consider, and to be honest I realy dont know what to do hah: Any help what so ever would be great. TY IN ADVANCE
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&description=&srchInDesc=&minPrice=&maxPrice= There's a list of Socket 754 motherboards with a PCIe x16 slot. Most are mATX, but a few probably are ATX.
What do you think about this one? Do you think this will do the job sucsesfully? http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/98189
Outside of the hideous color scheme, it should do the job. A few people are using some Biostar motherboards around here without complaints.
I hope he gets one with a heatsink because, from what I heard from newegg the M7 stopped coming with heatsinks on the south bridge ..hopefully that was just newegg's shipment otherwise you should be fine as Big B stated. I have a similar motherboard and it works great.
