It was only a matter of time before Nintendo directly accused Sony of stealing their idea. Across the pond, David Yarnton (right), who heads up Nintendo U.K., slammed Sony's Phil Harrison and the company for "copying" Nintendo.

Ever since Sony announced at its media briefing that the PS3 controller would incorporate motion-sensing technology, people have speculated that Sony stole the idea from Nintendo. After all, Nintendo has been responsible for most of the major controller innovations of the last 20 years—D-pad, analog stick, etc.

I don't think the PS3 will be as fun with the motion sensors. The Wii for me just seems so different that it'll be incredibly fun and unique. Me and my friend can't wait to get one :D

I think the fact that the PS3 controller is still a boomerang will mean motion sensors won't make it as good as the Wii...Im hoping to buy both

It's not that boomerang design anymore, it's almost the same as the old PS2 and PSX controllers...

Logitech and Microsoft released a motion-sensing controller back in 1999, so its nothing new, though maybe not as advance as the new Nintendo controller.

Also, I remember reading a article which said even the Atari 2600 had some kind of motion-sensing controller...

Nintendo has good design strategies for each of their home systems I believe its just their games that slack off. To me such as their rerelease of the same game over and over again. Example, their gameboy line most games produced by them are the same from te original game just a bigger price tag. :)
