connecting a 3rd hard drive

    hi i recently built a custom pc and i was wondering whats the possiblities of me connecting a 3rd hard drive to my pc.... the cable that i hav conected to the other 2 have 3 connectors on it.1 to the motherboard, one to each of my other hard drives. where do i connect this third drive??? can i use the other connector form my cable that connects my dvdwriter to my motherboard??? if not whats the procedures to get the third drive connected???

    Yes you should be able to connect the third drive to the cable with your optical drive. However, make sure that you assign one of them to be master/slave (the dvd drive and your 3rd HDD). e.g. make the dvd drive the slave and the new HDD the master. You won't have to touch your existing hard drive configuration.

    The jumper settings for the master/slave are on the back of the drives.
