Anyone here downloaded the new beta2 of Opera 9? I prefer the new Widgets menu bar to the 'hover' style button in the first beta. I think the widgets are better integrated, but i still find them a novelty and not particularly useful. The tab buttons now display a popup preview of the webpage if the mouse is hovered over them. I think that's a pretty nice touch. Opera 9 Beta2 seems a lot quicker then previous versions, and still renders pages faster then any other web browser available. I am pretty happy with it so far
I have to say, this is the first time i've even touched Opera and overall, i'm very impressed. Pages loaded extremely fast, nice variety of skins available, huge customization options and the 'New Tab' button all add to it's functionality. Sure, it's no Firefox, but it's pretty good. Two thumbs up :good:
