crt monitor not working where shall i start???

    ok just about a week ago my mum blew up her crt monitor and im trying to figue out wats rong with it ...........??? she went out brought a new one and working fine so far so its go to be the monitor not the graphics card so im just asking where to start ??????????? and help most wanted

    first start by connecting the apparetly dead monitor to a known working system if you get no redponce from the screen then its reasonable to assume that the monitors dead

    The in-erds of monitors and tvs are bloody dangerous. Id do the obvious stuff like plugging it into a known working sytem. Check the fuse also.
    CRT monitors ive had go on me would "roll" and wobble before they died.
    If you really want to get it working take it to a tv repair shop, if they still exist all ours have shut!

    I wouldnt going messing around inside though, the capacitors hold enough to do you serious harm.

    ok ill replace the fuse if that dont work it down the tip :) thx another time for helping me out at this amazing site
