I've now officially left high school, and have a 2 month break for doing nothing! Had my last exams, and then the leaver's prom. Now its August 24th for results, and then college in September. Come on! Need a part time job now.......
Me and Nic have applied to Winstanley college, about 2 miles from here. One of best in country, so good! Need 8 B's (best 8 GCSEs) at least to guarantee a place there.
You'll do fine in your GCSE's - I got 5 A's and 5 B's in mine, and that was with virtually no revision, I'm sure you'll both sail through. I also recently left School / College (Yeah I did both), awaiting results then off to University!!
Need grades to get in college! I think you needed £200 per A level when I left school. My mistake was dropping out of college because I was tempted by a £300 a week job, I took it but left a year later. Stick to the books! You can get by without GCSEs n stuff anyway. Ive got a B grade maths GCSE and provided I pass my OU exams in october will be off to manchester uni next year doing an MPhys albeit 6 years later than everyone else I went to school with!
Just started my coursework (Maths & Science). I'm not looking forward to 2 years of hard work, but I suppose it should be worth it.
God help you....It really is that bad. Ask Addis about the trauma of sci coursework On second thoughts...don't
My science coursework was accused of being plagiarised. I had a long argument with my teacher over it, and eventually I let up because apparently I didn't cite my sources for including own written content at A level.
Studying in NZ for international students is damn expensive. I have spend NZ $30,000 just for L6 course. A person who is Permanent Residence or Citizen over here can do the same course in NZ $6000. Luckily I got job in HP, I have applied for PR now and will start L7 studies next year, if I get the PR by the end of this year. At the moment I am paying my loan. Thats why I am holding off buying a new rig.
