can anyone tell me how i go into the regstry to find logs of chattrooms conversations that have been on my pc thankyou
? I dont think the registry is what your after! Thats a different kettle of fish altogether! Ive never used any of these chatroom things either. Are you using windows? What chatroom are you using? If you have installed a program which lets you use the chatroom and if it is possible to review conversations, it would be in the directory you installed the chatroom program. This will be in program files. You will have you look through the folder in program files where you installed the program. my computer/c:/program files/CHATROOM PROGRAM. Id be surprised if they do log the conversations because im sure the log would be huge in no time at all. If you haven't installed a program it will be web based and you wont have access to the log. Even web based chatrooms might not log conversations. Thats if web based chatrooms exist?!
conversations in chatrooms are not stored in the registry, i think it depends on the IM software your using, AOL i don't think can be retrieved Yahoo can be retrieved (by some program, the messages are extracted from the install directory, can't remember what the program is) which IM software are you using ? which OS ?
