I am having problems with my audio with this new motherboard(asus a8n32 sli-deluxe). The problem is that my mic is picking up on the outgoing speaker. I wear a headphone set, so it should only pick up me. But it is also picking up any sound that is outgoing as well.

Would it be my audio drivers or maybe just i set up the pin settings on the fp_audio wrong...

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this with this specific motherboard?

    audio driver :
    NVIDIA(R) nForce[TM] Audio Codec Interface
    version : 6.14.465.0

hmm, if its picking up on the outgoing speaker, i think the recording is set to Stereo Mix, i dont have this motherboard, but i know that when i select stereo mix on te volume properties on recording and then press record on say MSN Live Messenger, i hear all outgoing sound, all you have to do is go to windows volume controls (little speaker in bottom right corner), click options, then properties, click on recording, click stereo mix and microphone and then click select on microphone and then turn mic volume up.

    Hope that works :)

Or simply try muting the Microphone in the Audio control panel when it's not in use.

reduce the sensitivity of your mic in audio settings.

I dont think he means through the actual microphone, it sounds like, what he says by every sound, includes, all the sounds in games, system sounds and music etc...
