Some of the mates and i wanted to play some of the old PC classics. The games that use Tcp/Ip usally work fine but when we brought out an old favourite like StarCraft and tried to LAN it in does'nt work.

We have tried fruitlessly to configure the IPX protocal under out ethernet connections and have followed the instruction of StarCraft on hoe to set up IPX.

We have tried over crossover and through a hub to no avail. I am not sure that im doing wrong but if anyone could shed any light on the subject that would be great

Are you sure there are no firewall rules blocking access?

In Broodwar also was implemented UDP protocol, try use it. Workstations must be connected to hub or switch only with straight-through cable.
