No Post Information, disable SOYO dragon logo

    Hello Guys:
    I hope you can give me information on this problem,when I turn on the computer I get the Soyo Dragon motherboard Logo,then it loads up windows 98SE,THERE IS NO POST like mb number or main processor specs,no cpu temp or memory testing , otherwise it loads up and works just fine.
    I have checked out the bios settings but can not find any setting to remedy this problem???? any sugestions? greenhorn DELBERT---Bythe way the Bios is American Megatrends

    POST can be disabled in some motherboards. Maybe you just overlooked the option? Maybe I'm wrong.

    I checked out the bios again and could not find any place to stop post????

    Check for an option to Disable 'Fullscreen Logo Show'.
    It maybe in Advanced Options or something similar.

    HELLO PELVIS:
    I checked for an option to disable "Full Screen Logo Show,there is nothing in the "bios" for this and the "BIOS" doesn't have an advanced options part?????

    Hello Sniper:
    Thanks for the info,but I dont want to disable the soyo dragon splash screen,I want the full post when the computer boots,by the way this american megatrends bios has the least options that I have ever run into. Have you any experience with this type of bios?????? DELBERT

    A lot of computers now show a logo whilst doing the POST behind it. Normally there is a button you can press (I think it's normally tab) that hides the logo and shows what's happening in the POST.

    The lanparty ut nf3 boards do it too. Just curious but why do you want to see post.
