WinRAR help

So, any users of winrar here, I have it installed, but when I have a zip, I right click and it doesn't give me any of the winrar options. The only way to extract something is to double click it and manually choose where the directory is going to be...

I like to just be able to right-click and extract to a directory right where the .zip is.

Know what I mean?

Any ideas?

 

Right click on the file.....select open with.......select winRar. You will see a checkbox under the openwith programs which states "always use this program to open these type of files" Tick that and see what happens...

 

1. Launch WinRAR from the start menu
2. Once inside WinRAR, click the 'Options' menu, then click 'Settings'
3. Click the 'Integration' tab
4. Look for the section headed 'Shell Integration'
5. Tick all the boxes and press OK
