I recently moved from massachusetts to arizona my computer got messed up due to excellent movers and i had to reinstall windows. Would anyone happen to have these setup files seeing mine also disappeared in the moving process?
If you dont have the install cd's I guess your going to have to buy some new ones. Is your moving company not compensating you for any lost/damaged goods?
You dont have to buy new ones, you paid so you can play thoose games so (in my view) it would be ok for you to make a copy of the disc from a friend who has it, as long as you have a valid serial key that is. Doom 3 has no copy protection, so you will not have any problems with that one. as for 24, i guess it's based on the tv series.... btu i have never heard of it, so i dunno PS avoid the P2P networks, even though you own a license you can still get into trouble.... due to the nature of P2P you could be helping somebody who doesnt own a serial key get a copy of the game, which counts as illegal.
Doom 3 does have a sort of copy protection, but it's mostly from CD emulator software, not actually copying the CD itself. So long as you have the CD key, the media shouldn't be an issue. I'm not sure if this applies universally, but I recall something about Microsoft giving a new disc for a minimal fee. I could be wrong, but it might be worth asking about if you want to stay completely out of any potential problems.
If you've registered you're copy of window I do also belive you can order replacement disks for cheap. I'm not 100% on that one though. If you're in a pinch at least Doom 3 is dirt cheap these days on Amazon. I personally didn't think 24 had made it to the PC but I guess I was wrong. GameCopyWorld - Mirrors is a good resource for finding fixes that can help like no cd cracks (it's legal if you own the game after all). Not to get way off topic here but I couldn't help but notice Impotence that your name is orange? Is that a new rank I'm not aware of?
