help please with external dvd

i just bought an external dvd player and i can seem to be able to install the drivers i have a cd that sould have the drivers on it but i dont know where to put them and windows divice manager can find them i pointed to the folder that sould have the drivers in it but its not found i have win98 so plug and play dosent work that would be ezer

the model is lite on ez dub SOHW-1673SU35 and

i tried to attach the folder but its too big so i guess i will give names/types the hard way

well there is more but its takeing a long time they are all apps pdr bak or setupinfo could anyone tell me what to try i just spent 102 dallors on the drive and dvds and cant even use it
