hello good people, can some one please point me in the right direction for help? since going online my pc has slooooowed down so much its infuriating! i have spyware, internet security etc some1 said something about registry errors but erm.... im a novice and dnt know anything bout pc's. can i fix this? how do i fix this? is there another likely cause/cure? sorry if this is in the wrong forum! thank you for any help the professionals here may be able to pass down to thenovice!

You can get registry cleaners if thats what you think your problem might be. To be honest ive never used one so couldnt say if they are any good or not. Better than doing it by hand I suppose!
the trouble is if my pc isnt secure i dnt want to start puttind card details etc into it to but a reg cleaner and i wouldnt be able to do it by hand on account of me being thenovice at these things! tank you tho neway. is there an easy way to help me out??
What spyware and antivirus do you use? That is the usual cause of a PC slowing down. Spybot and ad-aware seems to be the best. Why is it you think its you registry anyway?
i have spy bot n norton, i ran them n got rid of what they found. its still slow..... maybe i jus got a pants pc! thort it was my registry coz sum ad popped up but i got a freeware 1 n its still slow! doh. i think ill go read up on over clocking, but being thenovice..... i just dnt know. lol
