Hello guys, new here just registered today but plan on staying for a while.

Having a problem with upping my ram.

Right now what im running is is some
    Kingston Value 184-pin PC 2700
They are 2 sticks of 512mb.

I want to bump up my system to atleast 2gb of memory.
Im on a budget of $200 but can increase if need be.
It doesnt have to be top of the line, but the best
value for my budget would be nice. It would also be
good if i could just buy an extra 1 stick of 1gb and just leave the
    2 sticks in there.

Bascially, need some advice on the best way to approach this.
    Thanks.

    What motherboard do you have?

Some boards only accept a certain amount of dimms, usually less if you are using 1gb dimms.
