Hi! Does anyone know why I have lost the option to switch between windows users, we have 5 users on my pc but since I installed a PC card for my wireless connection I can no longer access the other users.
go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Click on "Change the way users log on or off" -> Use Fast User Switching (make sure its ticked)
it will not let me change it , it says i have got uninstall the wi-fi device to be able to change it but i need the wi-fi adapter.
You may have a problem with your registry .. to be specific it is a problem with 'msgina.dll'. This is because the new WiFi software modifies this DLL, so restoring it back to the original should fix your problem.. It is safe, but always make a backup before you make modifications (sorry I should have included that in my post!). In Regedit navigate to File > Export and save it to a place such as desktop!
