That's the same price as that 5600 and it's got full DX9. It's a Radeon 9600 Pro EZ. The memory bus is 128-bits, and I believe the only difference is that it's clocked lower than the normal 9600 Pro.

Hey! how did i miss that! .. you might have stumbled onto something here
this is an article on th EZ PRO cards http://www.pinoypc.net/articles/viewarticle.php?article=307&page=2

however i think i may have found something just as good .. lil bit more expensive

i dont exactly know what the model is .. gigabyte made 3 different 9600 PRO cards .. all with different features, same core and memory speeds however, so i think that either one of the three that Gigabyte have made are good, the display pic on the site is the card with the lot, and the price looks alright to me, the buy button doesnt work but i've emailed them, hopefully its real, i'll keep ya posted thanks B

Yeah. I'm only seeing 2 different Pro cards, but the one that's faster is the 96P128D. The 96128DU has a slightly slower clock on something, but I'm not sure what.

Well ... FECK!!!!! .. i caved in .. I have a lan to go to this weekend and needed a good video card to go with .. i was gunna get the HIS R9600XT Turbo .. thats more than i wanted to spend in the first place, i need it shipped tomorrow morning if it has any hope of getting to me before the lan, so i huried home and called the dealer ( in another state) tried my ass off to get the card here by the weekend, they tell me its impossible, i'm like SHIT, called the 2nd best dealer i know (further away) tried to get the same card (cost 10 bux more) thety dont have it in stock, just sold out he says, then i quickly look on the page for something just as good and i find the POWERCOLOR 9600XT BRAVO 128mb for $310 .. this is like shit loads more than i was hoping to pay, but i paniced! i had 20 minutes to buy a video card, so far i have found that it performs on par with normal 9600XT's .. so yeah .. i bought a bravo piece of shit, oh and also because the dealer is so far away express delivery is gunna cost me an extra 15bux .. so in total i am paying $325 for something i could get for alot cheaper .. so yeah .. i'm angry .. i think i'll go experiment with my tounge and a power outlet.

I've blown half of my money that i was saving for schoolies week!! (spring break style thing)

I'm not sure about the aquamark score but your 3dmark score looks fine to me.

    I used to get 11k with a 9600 Pro.

That looks about right. My P4 box does score a little higher, but I'm doing some overclocking and major tweaking with it to get that. I've also got my setup running dual-channel on the memory and the CPU overclocked past 3GHz.
