You'll need your CD/DVD drives aslo. That processor should be fine for what you're doing, but you can get an ati X1800 or X1900 of newegg for just a little more. I would also get the extra 512Mb of RAM too. If you don' mind me asking, how did you get your display to work again? I did the same thing and had to pay 80 bucks at a PC shop just to restore eveything.
Not at all - I simply rebooted my computer clicked back and forth between my monitor inputs - got angry pressed F12 a few too many times - and Vola! :chk: Computers can be really tempremental sometimeS!
