    Norton Ghosting question:

    I have HD1 Partition1: ~60Gb, 9Gb full, NTFS
    I have HD1 Partition2: ~60Gb, ~40Gb full, FAT32

Now I want to copy everything from Partition1 as an image to Partition2. Will ghosting everything over will erase all the current data on Part2.

I don't think that any data will be erased. Most probably your ghosting software will simply create that image and add (ie append) it to the selected location.

I've not used Ghost for a long time but I'm sure you won't because when saving the image you should be able to save the image file anywhere you want, so create a folder in that partition #2 called something like "Backup Ghost" and save the Image file in there.
