A friend of mine has an Intel Celeron PC which has been swithced off for about 7 weeks. When I tried to switch it on I found that the PSU was dead. I changed it for a NEW one but now after switching it on I found im getting nothing on the display. I tried it on my new TFT and another monitor so the problem is not with the display, its with the PC itself. The MOBO only VGA output is its onboard video controller and strange enough it does not have an AGP slot where i could hook up another vga card. !!

Im suspecting the MOBO video controller is dead. Any suggestions ?

Not that bizarre, my old celeron didn't have AGP either, it used PCI instead.

it sound (to me) like the next logicl step would be to try replacing the mobo (the PSU could have killed it at the same time)

BTW: what PSU did you get (make & model please)
