What is the name of the cable in order to make what the laptop shows on the screen show on the TV? Thanks.
Is this a slot a circle, has 7 pins and some rectangle thing? i think its S-Video if its on a tv tuner or graphics card.
Ive tried this and depending on your TV how old it is, the quality is lowered and its usually hard to see whats on the screen with this s-video cable, unless however if you have a plasma tv with laptop/pc capabilities then its a good diea to try it but i dont advise to use the laptop on a old tv unless ur using for music and movies but nothing else.
Using old tv's in useless for anything to do with pc, even movies, the quality is awfull, i tried it, was not good at all, but decent HD tv's are good.
Well some modern tv's have VGA connector on them and a HDMI connector, i am guessing the graphics card on your pc doesent support HDMI though?. Exatly what TV do you have, that would give a better idea of which cables you can use
I'm looking for a cable that will go into the yellow, red and white cable things that will connect to my PC. Whats the EXACT Name I will need to know? Thanks.
Those cables are RCA, and i dont think you can directly conenct those to the computer, you need to use something like S-Video, but they are low quality compared to HDMI or VGA, i would use VGA if possible.
There what i use to play my Xbox through my TV Tuner onto my computer, it makes me cry the quality is so bad and depresing lol.
Okay so I still would like to figure this out, I saw an Article in Popular science which talked about this a little. So I need to find the best way (Highest quality) to connect my computer to the TV. My computer has an S-Video hole. Thanks.
Use an s-video cable, however they are really bad quality. I'm having to use one at the moment because my monitor died, and the quality sucks. Need a g
Use a component connection, which is where the signal is split up into two colour signals & a black and white signal, I think... Not sure what the support is for those on TV's though, and to get good quality from s-video, You will need a good quality TV I think.
