Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys had this problem, when I try to put my computer into hibernation or standby, it goes perfectly fine, but when it comes out, my second hdd is not there anymore. My bootup hdd is connected via SATA, and my second storage hdd is connected via IDE. Could that be where the problem is? since the computer only believes there is only an SATA hdd there? Could anyone help me with this? In bios, I have nothing set up for IDE Master, only and IDE slave, should I change it so the storage hdd becomes the IDE master since the bootup hdd is SATA?

set the IDE HDD to C/SEL (cable select) and try it at both positions on the IDE cable

see if that does any good

BTW: if you get it working, just leave it on C/SEL

is C/SEL in the bios? or adjusting a jumper on the back of the drive?

It's adjusting a jumper on the back of the drive.

yeah, instead of having Master or Slave jumpered, move the jumper to C/SEL (or maybe CS)
