Hi, My friend has buggered up the password on his laptop. Im trying to log on as administrator but i don't know the password. What is the default password on an acer 5610 aspire? Or failing that how can i bypass the logon screen? Cheers

I can change the settings on both but it has no effect on the notebook. I cant even make the notebook the primary monitor with the 4:3 plugged in.

I was trying to clone - but is probably the problem? i could have 1024*768 on the 4:3 and 1280*768 on the notebook but now its 1280 * 1024 on both

Hi, Now I have the 4:3 1280 * 1024 up and running But the widescreen notebook should be 1280 * 768 is the same as the 4:3 and scrolls up and down. Grrrr

Your right that may help I can boot from either drive via the bios but i cant get the choice bit to work. Windows 2000 asks me to rein stall the .hal ile or something! can get actual wording if needed. Cheers

Hi, When i am using my DVD drive (LG DVD-RAM GSA-H22N) my music starts to stutter. it doesnt matter if it is writing or copying. Playing DVDs doesnt seem to matter although the sound does go quieter a little. Any ideas? Cheers

That utility is the same one as before - but that doesnt seem to be the problem. It says in sert the disk and press enter when ready. When i press the enter key it doesnt even check the disk drive hmmm!! So it doesnt matter what is on the disk Cheers Could it be checking the...
