I think I finally solved the problem... all I had to do is to delete all the partitions on all HDDs and voilà. I killed it!:chk: Other than that, the network problem is quite a big one... I found some complicated command stuff for Ubuntu 6.06 but not for 7.04... there seems to be a serious...

sorry for my late reply... Everything's working great. All computers on my network can access each other. Next stop getting that Epson R1800 shared by the mac so that windows pcs can print... apparently not possible with the current 10.4.9. Thanks guys!
