i just bought a new ext hdd,i wanted to create partition for the ext hdd,after i plug into my pc but i cant c anydrive in the pc..so what do i need to do to solve dis problem..or any other way to create partition?

i've plug out my keyboard from the usb port and then afterthat i plug in again but the usb port at my cpu is not recognise with my keyboard,my screen return with the word.."the usb device is not recognise"...before that the keyboard is usable wan...but it is not recognise after i plug out and...
