try right clicking the cd icon when you've put the cd in and open it. locate any setup files with the extension .exe see if that works.

YES definitely upgrade to PCI-express. The AGP is all but non-existent anymore so do upgrade. As for the graphics card, get the 8800GTS superclocked version. simply because you get more value and SPEED for your money.

That's a good budget pc, but that 7300gt might be a bit weak, I would get at least a 7600gt (for gaming) as it can handle pretty much anything right now, but if you can stretch your budget, try and get a 8600gts.

have you tried this? start -> right click my computer -> manage -> disk management. see if your drive is there and if it is, format it and it should appear on my computer.

first off, welcome to HWF, just need to know what operating system you are using and the brand of webcam you are using. If you are using a cheap webcam and your operating system is XP with service pack 2 installed, it should install automatically without the use of the installation disk...

try this: right-click on desktop -> properties -> settings: and select the tv monitor or extend your view to this monitor option. if that doesn't work, go to the nvidia control panel and select the advanced settings view and select "set up multiple displays" in the left side of the window...

when you plug in the hard drive from the emachine to the other tower, does it have xp installed into it? You should try format the drive and then plugging it in the other tower.
