Well I have two questions for you based on your questions that [if answered first] would help me help you. :-P
How are you trying to connect to the internet? -Through broadband or through dialup?
Have you checked the tracks you are trying to play to see if they are actually the full...
I have neither card... which makes it that much harder... Oh well, hopefully we can figure something out. And if YOU happen to find something before I do, please let us know how you accomplished your task.
No, I didn't... I just had something like Win2k, Winxp, Win98, WimMe or something like that. I've been google'ing the problem for a while and can't find much useful information. I've never had that much luck with Wlan's in Linux as it is, but I will keep giving it a shot and get back to you.
I looked on the site and even downloading the drivers from the site, but I dont see any drivers for linux. You said that using Ndiswrapper, it recognizes your card, right? There are not any errors about no hardware that matches it? And does the card seem to be up and running as the only network...
Yeah, AT is married and has a little two year old daughter (I think she might be a bit older than two now). He's been with his wife for like 7 years or so.. Been married a couple, I think. Have hope, fellow geeks! :P

When I tried
dump -0u /dev/ad1 /
I get an error "Unknown arguments to dump: /" So I changed it to
dump -0u -f /dev/ad1 /
And it seemed to work but first it told me that I should use "-L" because it is a live filesystem. Then, every few seconds it would say "Volume 8 begins with blocks from...
I dont understand why adobe would already go through the trouble of making flashplayer for linux, but not making shockwave for linux. What a shame. Maybe someday, but until then, I guess it's either wine or nothing. Be sure to let us know how it went... good luck, donkey.
Unfortunately, shockwave is not available natively in linux. Flashplayer is though... I've never even thought to install shockwave so I dont know how well it would work to port it through wine.
For my Unix administration class, one of the assignments for the midterm is to backup our hdd to another hdd using the command "dump" I dont know how many of you are familiar with this program or BSD, but I cannot seem to get the dang thing to dump to the slave Hdd. Right now, I am using the...
