In Malta we cant compare hardware prices with US or UK ! Here pc parts are really expensive compared to other countries. And yes it sucks ! :( I know that if I lived in US I would get more specs for the same money but i cant do nothing about it ! That costs about USD $380.

I think i will use the nic card option. The switch is more expensive plus I need to change cables etc..

My applications are not that cpu / graphic intensive. I think the system that I have in my mind will give me good performance for a 4 year life span. Socket 939 mobo and cpu are still too expensive cause they hit the shores recently.

The RAM is DDR400. Socket 939 is still a bit expensive locally. But i will consider it.
