I have been given a DVD - I was told it was in NTSC format but when I checked on my computer it said MPEG2. Is this the same or can anybody explain the diffrence please.:confused:

Hi Dwarfer Thanks for that reply. As I have VHS/DVD combi I don't think that Macrovision Remover will work. The video copied from BBC TV - I am surprised that it would still be protected (by the Macrovision ?) - have never had this problem before and I have put several films/programmes...

A year or two back I recorded a movie from the TV onto VHS tape. I have been trying to copy this to a DVD on my Panasonic VHS/DVD Combi but after recording for a for a few mins it stops and says 'copy protected'. I am puzzled as to how something copied from TV has copy protection on it as...

Hi donkey42 You ask if I am on cable - forgive my ignorance - but if you mean am I on landline or am I wireless then I am using TalkTalk landline. Is an ethernet router a 'box' near the incoming telephone cable with an aerial on the computer?

I have googled for instructions without success so please can anybody tell me how I can sort documents in Microsoft Works into Folders. The only information I found seemed very complicated - please does anybody know a simple way of doing it. :confused:
