Ok, so Windows does not recognize Linux partitions (most commonly ext3). Windows disk manager will tell you it is an unknown partition. I do not know of any programs that will let you read an ext3 filesystem from Windows, but it may exist (a Google search my help you a lot here). Funny thing...

I think this is more of a direct ubuntu/mint-songbird incompatibility. I have no problem with other applications, but as I said, it is fine with me, as I just leave songbird open on the main desktop.
