Yeah I don't see why not mate, it was a very good first review. But just from a personal point, could you add a little about the the enemy intelligence (Al), the multiplayer aspect (if any) & maybe a brief background into the plot of the game?. It's just a good starting point for people...

Found this handy little guide on another forum in helping to cool your CPU by a fair few degrees for those of us using Win2k or XP. As the progs ones out there at the moment are all aimed at Win9x & don't help cool the NT-based OS's, eg. CPUidle/Hmonitor etc.). This is for the VIA KT266...

Although XP will more likely get you at least past the install stages as opposed to 2000 which, from personal experience, won't if it doesn't like your hardware config.....like a damn NIC, which took me ages to work out was the stupid problem! :smash: ......ahem, excuse me. :sick:

Radar, (although I doubt it's the resolution to your prob) if you ever did want to upgrade to Win98SE I think Microsoft are still sending out the 'SE upgrade' for free to people, just have to pay the shipping.

Are you running Win98 the original release?.....ie. not Win98SE?. I know that release of of the OS still had probs with some USB devices, steming from the crappy Win95 'USB supported' release (Oooo, that sucked!). And the only other obvious response, and highly predictable one at that) would...

That's interesting, as I have an Asus AVZ266 mobo & suffered from probs with my optical MS Intelli Mouse too when plugged into my PCI USB card. It would work fine until I gave it a 'soft' reboot. At which point the mouse would stop responding until I took it out the USB port and plugged it...

You said you think it might be to do with your sound card drivers, and your running Win98SE, right....that sounds like a prob I had very recently with my SoundBlaster Live! software which I was trying to install it on that same OS... If it's not the same soundcard then ignore this post :p

You often hear of USB issues with different mobo's.....what mobo have you got?.

RZA, looks like we're running out of idea's here mate. Did you you take it back to the place you bought it from and have it replaced?.

I think Pinki was refering to what RZA said in a previous post that he managed to get into Windows when using a PCI video card, but it showed the AGP video card up as having an error.....actually that post he refered to is a touch confusing. RAZ were you saying that you had a PCI and AGP...

I also had this prob with RTCW when I used the default Nvidia driver in XP Pro. SynGod could correct me here, but I believe this is down to Microsoft discontinuing support for OpenGL, as all the video card drivers they have available on XP don't have any GL support at all.....you have to go...

RealJukebox is basically an MP3's "jukebox" really, put MP3's into playlists, etc, etc. It's a good prog., nice to use....but since they realised the update & completely changed the interface, it's gone very bad.

Yeah I was looking at that HSF also & the GlobalWIN CAK38 copper too....trying to decide which one to go for....I'm swaying towards the Thermalright at the moment. Is it pretty loud with the two of them in the case?....or is it bearable?.....(I've used the DO3 & CAK38 (standard) in the past...

Just a question out of interest really, how many of you guys have tried RealOne yet?. (the new all-in-one upgrade to RealPlayer & RealJukebox). Although I use RealJukebox alot, personally I though the new upgrade sucks badly.
