some router accepts Static IP (ie. netgear, USR, 3com) address as what AT said, but sometimes they need the TCPIP setting to be automatically assigned (ie. D-Link) so i suggest that you try both..... i havent tried Lynksis yet though..
I have a Cooler Master Aerogate II, I only use it to monitor the temp of my CPU, its connected directly to my CPU. Im a bit confused if the readings from the Aerogate are correct, coz in my ASUS Probe its different. ASUS Probe is higher, about 12C difference. Any idea???

Well that should be just fine, for me i use an anti-static wrist strap whenever i fix a computer. Or if i dont have one, ill just simply touch the case(metal part of it) with me knee or somtime my foot :chk:. Being extra cautious will not harm you ;)

For MSN Messenger ---Go to the main window of MSN Messenger, go to Tools>Options, then go to General Tab, remove tick as appropriate, ie: "Open Messenger main window when messenger starts" & "Allow automatic sig in when connected to the internet"
