Definatly good news!! that will surly not bottleneck my gfx card

well i didn't personly build my pc it came prebuilt and it has stock cooler and paste i think, also i have no vent in my case and its open... (Add) also after playing HL2 and i touch the heatsink it is very hot so i think the sensor is right, maby i should clean it out and maby look to buying...

suppose that would be the best idea i might have abit left over for maby better keyboard to

just adding to the pentium D is very hot i just got back from tea min ago minamized HL2 that had been open and saw my pentium was up to a whoping 75'C and that was in on pause not even playing.

im saving up for some bits for my pc, i know im gona get antec 900 case and a artic freezer pro 7. but i also need to upgrade my processor and was wondaring is it worth going that little bit more for the e6700 or just go for the popular e6600?

If anyone is thinking of going for a cheep system and think pentium D is gona be the best option dont... Forget that they go up to 3.4ghz i thought that would make it fast but you will find its slower than maby a 2ghz core 2 duo. secondly they are extremely hot as my pentium d idles at 50'c in...

if ur talkin to mee its the ati saphire x1950 pro which is sorta there latest before the x1950 xtx and then there hd card

ok here we go. my card idles quite low caus fan is always 100%, my room aint to hot... but i have no fans at all in my case but i always have the side open, its not to old so dust shudent be a prob, but i did a stress test sorta thing my card started to reach 90'c so i stoped lmao

I for one Definatly think its the Pentium d that holds any system back, because i also play supcom with pentium d 3.4ghz and 2gb ddr2 ram and a x1950 pro 512, and mine is also slow so.

i was wondaring if games like BF2 would work on linux and gain better preformance or is that a no no

yea i suppose but i think that the antec 900 fans have 3 speed options anyway.

i dont know if there is actualy a answer to this but what is better AMD or intel. as i see it i think for the older processors amd win but i dont think any amd now wins after the core 2 duos. please correct me if im wrong

My saphire x1950 pro which is good but runs quite hot if you ask me suppost to make the screen flash green when u try overlclocking it by even very small ammounts :chk: if its caus of temp what can i buy to cool it down?

i cant w8 till xmas (which is far away i know XD) caus im gona get either the e6600 or e6700 and a antec 900 case and is it a artic freezer pro 7 . i think that will be like the north pole hopefully :P

uuuh im really disapointed with my pentium d its the 945 one and it idles at like 50 lol... and load is scary like 65+

sorry if this question is very dumb but you know the antec 900 case it has 4 fans, well... i really dont think that many fans will go into my mobo so what are they powerd by? :doh: :doh:
