    Dual boot RAID 1

A hardware RAID setup is transparent to the operating system, so Linux and Windows in a dual boot setup is fine. Impotence, I think you may be refering to software RAID. Windows does not support that unless you are running the server versions

You did not specify which version of Windows you are running. Assuming it's Windows XP and you have an retail CD, just boot from the Windows CD. Choose the Repair option to get into the recovery console. In the Recovery Console, run "chkdsk /f".

    KDE 4.0 released

Have any of you seen openSUSE 11.0 beta 2 yet? KDE 4 looks amazing from the screenshots I have seen. The silver theme is much nicer then the bland black theme that KDE4 normally uses. Some of the visual effects look pretty cool as well.

    KDE 4.0 released

It's certainly a bad time to be a KDE user. KDE 3.5.x is getting long in the tooth and won't be supported for too much longer. Caught a nasty Ubuntu Gutsy bug

I honestly can't win right now... The 7200GS freeze bug exists in Ubuntu Hardy Heron too, so I decided to cut my losses and buy an 8400GS. Ubuntu doesn't freeze anymore, so that's a good thing. But now I've caught another bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/194851...

    Vista Computer Scores

For the first time in over 2 years, I have installed Windows on my main computer. I don't mean within a Virtual Machine, but on a physical disk, in a dual boot scenario with Ubuntu 8.04 RC. My biggest beef has got to be performance issues and system requirements. I don't claim to have the...
