    PNY NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 1GB GDDR3

Ok, an update. I will be using this on a 300w power supply. the card needs to be run on a 300-350w power supply for the minimum. also, it states that it needs about 18-20 amps on the +12v rail, while i only have 15. while i may be able to run the card, would i have problems with sudden...

    PNY NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 1GB GDDR3

I would just like some opinions on it. Also, do you think i would be able to run something like oblivion or fallout 3? I'm upgrading to this card from an old bfg geforce fx 5500.

I Think My 360 is Literally Burning my Discs

well ive resolved the issue, but now its back to the old problem i had before, random freezing. i know my 360 is free of dust and all that, i saw to that myself. i am a very thorough duster of electronics. it sure does get alot of hot air out of the system, which means the components themselves...

I Think My 360 is Literally Burning my Discs

No, I'm not talking about the "burn" rings that every idiot got from moving their xbox from horizontal to vertical. I've been searching all over for an answer but its like no one has experienced it. I think the laser in the disk drive is scorching the reflective surface of the disk. No signs of...

duo core processor, only single core displayed in CPU-Z

From my understanding and experience with that particular program, it seems to not be compatible with all CPUs, contrary to what one would think. try another program and see if you get the same result

    CPU Cooling Issues

I've had a look at that particular heatsink before but currently i don't have the means to purchase it. Ive had other people tell me that the stock intel heatsink is sufficient for basic use, especially if im not overclocking, and im not. it almost seems as if its not absorbing heat properly...

    CPU Cooling Issues

I have a Pentium D 925 (I'm aware that they have heat issues) with the stock intel heatsink. at idle it gets to about 95F and under load at max about 135. I'm seeing temp spikes any time my processor utilization gets to 20% or so. Ive applied and reapplied thermal paste several times, each time...

    Low FPS?

Its probably the fact that you are pulling data from an ISO instead of the actual CD/DVD itself. disk virtualization can be slow. also, even ISOs can fragment. its happened to me on my system.

    AMD Leaver Resistance

make absolutely sure that the cpu is sitting flush with the socket, that its in the right way, and then go ahead and latch that puppy down. their usually is some resistance when you lock it down to assure that it doesnt wiggle around. you want your cpu as stable as possible.

Conputer turns off abruptdly on stress

is that 55 c at idle or under stress? 55 is a little high. under stress i would say its safe since your not reaching your max shut off temp.

    Celeron vs. Pentium 4

I'm currently running a Celeron 2.0ghz processor, Northwood-128. I have this other CPU, a Pentium 4 1.8ghz, ID sl6la. I'm wondering if the drop in core clock with pay off for more L2 level cache, since the Pentium 4 has 512kb versus the Celeron which has only 128kb. I know the Celerons have...
