I got a new amd64 computer and in the bios I changed the Display adapter setting to PCI from AGP because I have only a PCI video card. Now, nothing displays on the screen when I boot up!
Open up your case and try and find a jumper setting that says something like JBAT1 or something like that. It should be 3 pins which 2 of them have a plastic clip. When you find them move the clip from the 2 pins its on to another 2 pins. Heres an example. 1-1 1 the plastic clip is on the first 2 pins. 1 1-1 the plastic clip has moved on to the right so that the middle one and the rightmost one is connected. Doing this clears your CMOS so that your BIOS settings will be reset. If you find your motherboard manual it should tell you where these pins are. If you can't find them then you can always just find the battery on you motherboard and remove it for a few sconds and then put it back. This will also work but remember to reset your time when you boot up. Sorry if this isn't very clear ask again if you need more info. :good:
