Part of Applian Technologies Replay Media Catcher (streaming video and audio/MP3 downloader) and Freecoder (save video and audio from the web and convert to many popular formats - formally known as Ask & Record Toolbar). "Allows the video history tool to save videos you've played from your computer's cache" - see here. As it's based upon the Ask.com tooblar it sets your default search engine to Ask if not unchecked
