i bought a 24" SONY GDM-FW9012 FD Trinitron Flat CRT Monitor which is also known as HP A7217A. here is the link:

im trying to hook up the monitor to my pc via the BNC connection using this:

VGA HD-15 to 5 BNC RGB Video Cable for HDTV Monitor ca - (eBay item 220174516507 end time Dec-19-07 19:15:14 PST)

Any resolution setting beyond 1600X1200 scrolls off my viewable screen. The recommended resolution for this monitor is 1920X1200.

when i use the VGA connector, everything is fine. i heard thata seperate driver is needed so the computer can use this kinda of cable to display resolutions properly. can anybody help me find this driver or know what i need to use? thx bunches
