250 GB Seagate Drives Only 131070

I have two 250GB Seagate Barracudas, brand new,
The BIOS reads them as 250GB but when I go to set up Windows XP Pro on them but it only lets me choose a 131070 unpartitioned to format and partition with the NTFS file system.

I wonder whats going on with them, I tried to set up windows on both and its excactly the same for both drives.

Its is a home built with asus p5n32-sli deluxe.

I looked in the BIOS but it reads them as 250gb

Anyone know what could be the problem?
Thanks

Did you have caps jumpers?
I have Seagates I wonderif they have it…

no,

im afraid thati have not been home yet to check, but i think that its justa case of windows not recognising the size of the disc, not the jumpers.
