AMD 64 3500+ vs P4 775 3.2

Hi,

What do you think will offer the best performance between those two setup.

Intel P4 Prescott 3.2Ghz s775
Asus P5P800

or

AMD Athlon 64 2.2Ghz 3500+
MSI K8T s939

im mostly going to use the computer for games… as for price they both are pretty much the same.

going to keep my agp card and my ddr1 ram.

AMD will pwn it in games, and run a lot cooler because the prescott could be used as a hot plate

do i have to run windows 64 bit or is normal windows ok?

Well, AMD’s 64-bit CPU’s also have 32-bit extentsions, allowing you to run standard Windows just fine.
