Why are you wanting to move hardware to PC2, its allot older than PC1 with a much much slower CPU. I dont think the CPU will lower the efficiency of the ram but i am not sure as if PC2 will support the ram in PC1..

But i wouldetn expect anything from PC2 to be compatible with PC1 or the other way around, only the HDD’s would be compatible with each other.

[ot]LOL[/ot]yeah, combineing PC1 with PC2 would probably be imposible, as PC1 probably has an ATX mobo and PC2 probably has an AT mobo
it would probably need a HDD controller[ot]if upgrading controller, he may as well go for a SATA controller[/ot]
[QUOTE=Willz]
Maybe it would be best to just go and build a cheap new computer then?

no, in today’s “throw away” society it is cheaper to just buy a new system than worrying about upgrading from say AT or 168 pin RAM in a system[ot]just get a new system, & accept the fact that a system will only be upgradable for about a year or two, my system is a 1700Mhz Intel Celly and i’ll be buying a new system when the mobo dies[/ot]
