Any Laptop HDD Will Do?

Hi, I am fixing a Dell Inspiron laptop, it won’t power-on because it has no hdd, my question is can I buy any 2.5" IDE hdd or do I have to buy a dell inspiron for it to work?

You can use any 2.5" HDD. But you need to know if the laptop uses IDE or SATA before you can buy one.
