did anyone read that article about D3 and performance? i browsed throught it, and the game plays on 640x480(?) reso, low everything on a geforce mx440, and it still looks damn good.
also, any aliased lines disappear as the reso. increases, so you don’t have to chomp down on frame rates with aa, as by increasing the reso, you get the same effect.
doom 3 will apparantly play on a 1500mhz pentium 3 with a mx440. so anything better, and its all good.

Futureshop, it’s a Canadian store.
I initially wasn’t going for Doom 3, but, it would be nice to make use of the 9600XT I have. I put some money down @ EB to reserve my copy, and traded in some stuff I don’t play (like UT2003).
buy it, Im not a doom fan but the atmosphere is fantastic
