I have to change the boot order on one computer (so i can reinstall the windows), however there is a bios password, and noone at work knows it. Do you have any idea, how can i reset this password?
As mentioned in the title, the mainboard is Asus P2B-S.
Welcome to HWF.
You’ll have to clear the CMOS to do that. Please refer to the manual of the mobo. Or do it this way: Open the case of the computer. There should be a lithium battery on the motherboard. Remove it, and then startup the computer. It should start beeping. So then turn it off and re-insert the battery. Now turn it back on. That should’ve reset the bios.
edit: Keep in mind that the time and date have been reset as well.
