Hi guys dunno if anyone can help me but i have a problem with my cpu witch is an athlon xp1700 when i set jumper settings at 133mhz my p00ter just won’t boot but set at 100mhz runs ok but the cpu only running at 1.100mhz.
I’ve updated the bios on my mother board but still i have the same problem any ideas guys.
My sys states=
Windows ME
Athlon xp1700
256sd ram
Matsonic ms8137c mother board
Geforce4 mx420 64mb
Is your RAM rated for PC133 operation?
Do you have any other jumper settings that might affect the operation, like a CPU FSB to MEM ratio?
Well i have checked all other jumpers on my board all seems ok.
And my ram runs at 133mhz

XP1700 runs at 1.467 GHz Max, unless overclocked…I’m a bit confused, are you having problems with the RAM or CPU!? Try to increase the jumper settings little by little!
