The eagerly anticipated 4870X2 is out for sale in UK, unfortunately i can’t afford it but atm i got the 4870 which is just fine for me and plays crysis rather well with average of 40 fps on everything set to high.
If you got the 4870X2
Then please let me know on how well it performs especially on Crysis
also what is the minimum power for it.
I also presume it runs rather hot because my 4870 runs at 48 C on idle and on full load it’s 65 C. So please let me know on the temps too.
There’s a review here, but no power information, it needs two power connectors though(six and eight pin).

It looks so nice and i bet it would kill the 280GTX, i would love to see two in crossfire, or two in crossfire against three 280GTX in 3 way SLI what you think???
I think you would need one hell of a PSU.
Yeah a 1000Watt and above will do the job easily
Mind you i don’t think it would be fair to compare the 280GTX which is effectively one GPU against the 4870X2 which is really two cards or two GPUs
If it fits in one card slot its fair to compare em.
Its like comparing a single core cpu to quad core… its ok.. you can compare
