Beers of the world

Hey, a few beers is good for health. Just not excessive drinking.

I’ve found some intresting beers/ale too.

Like Monty Python’s Holy Grail Ail—and I have the bottle to prove it.

I usually stick to Bud, but I turn to Canada for my favorite non-American beer: LaBatt Blue.

Some people say a glass of wine a day is good for you.

Personally I prefer a Jack Daniels with Coke and ice… mmmmm :stuck_out_tongue:

Stella Artois

Smith’s Oatmeal Stout, Guinness Extra Stout, MacTarnahan’s Blackwatch, Newcastle, Downtown Brown, Heineken Special Dark, anything from Stone or Lost Coast breweries.

Of course, I also have my guilty favorite of Corona with lime and sea salt (and I enjoy J&B Scotch quite a bit, but that’s not a beer is it?).

Carlsberg for me, Stella Artois is just horrid, and Bud… shudders

Has anyone seen a beer called Haagen anywhere?
It’s my new favourite beer, German style but Australian brewed.
Comes in light and full strength and has the sweet hoppy taste

Yes I have, I didn’t know it was Aussie brewed though.

Cool
How much is it over there? Here it’s $20 for a case. I couldn’t imagine it being too expensive.

There’s this local stuff that’s a bourbon-aged beer. Basically, it’s a dark, robust beer that’s been stored in bourbon barrels. That stuff is awesome, especially if you like bourbon or non bourbon whiskey.

Does anyone here like Guinness? It’s one of those drinks that you either love or hate.

Yes, I love Guinness if you’d notice my post above. Guinness is made like sourdough, a bit of the last batch goes into the next batch, so in that way, you’re drinking very ancient beer every time you drink an extra stout.

Corona for sure, Export to be precise. That, bottled and a slice of lime = good drinking.

Also a fan of other ‘foreign’ beers..San Miguel in particular - less than 3 euros for 6 bottles in menorca.

Guiness, Stella, Kronenbourg 1664, VB, Dry Reds and single malts.

That’s my lot…

Fosters and Carlsberg.

sometimes i just drink girls drinks :stuck_out_tongue:

Hmm, what would you call a girl’s drink? Vodka-pops?

I’m from Belgium. We have a beer-luxury problem. Too many beers to remember. I myself like trappist, like Leffe, Grimbergen, Tongerlo, Ciney, Chimay, … they cost about 1.5 (1,5) up to 2 euros per bottle in most cafés.

yum!

wow wouter, thats cheap!

Megamaced, yes, when i say girls drinks, i mean things like Vodka-Pops, things like WKD. :stuck_out_tongue:
