What do you guys think the best harddrive benchmarking software is? Ive always used Sandra but Sandra2005 is giving me some strange replies, I dont think I beleive them.
My WD 80gb ata100 is 3 times faster than a maxtor fireball ata133! They are in different computers but something aint right.
For hard drives, HD Tach or Intel’s IOmeter are both good tests.

Ive just found that the slower drive had a dma66 lead, I tried a different one which seems to be a dma100. None have markings on
