128mb 6600gtpci-e or 128mb 6800 agp
Im allso looking for an upgrade but am unable to go pci-e as my motherboard is old and only has agp !!! So what agp graphics cards would you suggest as the best in performance or the best in value ? Or should i think about a new motherboard instead ?
For best results, start a new thread instead posting your question in another thread. It’s a tax-free endevor.
Long-term, you’d be better off with a PCIe motherboard as AGP, as AGP is going the way of the dodo.
Thanks for the advice Big B , i thought i should have started a new one as i posted it , dohh ! ! Which motherboards would you rate at the moment as the best for performance vs value , expense always being the major hurdle ? Allso if an agp was on the cards as a QUICK solution for now are there any you WOULD recommend ?
I think getting an AGP card now would be a waste of money. But if you want it, find a card like a 6600GT AGP on ebay.
